El enfermo no sabe aun si ha recibido la vacuna o sólo un placebo; dice que se encuentra bien y con síntomas leves
Londres.- Un enfermo español que participa como voluntario en los ensayos de la vacuna contra el Covid-19 que prepara el laboratorio AstraZeneca con la universidad de Oxford ha dado positivo en la prueba de la enfermedad, aunque no sabe aún si ha recibido la vacuna o sólo un placebo.
A través de su cuenta de Twitter, Joan Pons, residente en el Reino Unido, explicó que comenzó a sentirse mal el jueves, con los síntomas clásicos de un resfriado, pero que al someterse a la prueba PCR se sorprendió hoy al ver que éste era positivo.
«Hoy me he llevado un susto de muerte: ha pasado lo que estábamos todo el mundo esperando y es que uno de mis test resultara positivo», manifestó Pons, quien se ha autoaislado en su domicilio.
El enfermero aseguró en un video que «la única manera de saber si la vacuna es eficaz es que los vacunados se infecten».
«Ojalá que sea así, que me hayan puesto la vacuna y no el placebo, eso lo dirán las próximas horas», añadió.
