Empresarios pelearán contra ley de videovigilancia

La legislación viola el derecho a la privacidad de las personas, plantean

Empresarios del estado se sumaron a la Comisión de Derechos Humanos del Estado de Morelos (CDHEM) en su intento por echar abajo la Ley de Videovigilancia que aprobó el Congreso del estado y que entró en vigor el pasado 13 de agosto.

Según los representantes de la iniciativa privada y el ombudsman Israel Hernández Cruz, la legislación vulnera los derechos fundamentales de los ciudadanos, al obligar a los negocios a instalar cámaras de videovigilancia y a «colaborar» en la entrega de grabaciones y datos personales.

Sergio Aldana Hinzpeter, presidente de la Asociación de Mexicana de Distribuidores de Automotores (AMDA), señaló que la ley establece como plazo, a partir de su entrada en vigor el pasado 13 de agosto, 180 días para el cumplimiento de la instalación de aparatos de videograbación, con el supuesto de inhibir delitos.

Sin embargo, sostuvo que eso vulnera los derechos de los empresarios, de sus trabajadores y de los ciudadanos, aún más cuando no se les tomó en cuenta para la creación de la ley.
Por tal razón, los empresarios afirmaron que llegarán hasta el final en la lucha legal que ya emprendieron con los juicios de amparo que promovieron en agosto pasado y los que se sumarán en las próximas semanas por las acciones impositivas que contiene la nueva ley.

«Es inconstitucional está ley, porque autoriza al responsable de un establecimiento a colocar e instalar cámaras no solo de imagen sino de audio y se puede estar grabando una conversación privada, y un comunicación privada no puede ser grabada de manera clandestina sin una orden judicial. Esta ley viola el derecho a la privacidad de las personas, aunque estén en un lugar público”, manifestó Israel Hernández Cruz.
El presidente de la Comisión de Derechos Humanos adelantó que trabajará con los empresarios en una iniciativa para obligar al Congreso del estado a que abrogue la ley vigente y se apruebe una que no vulnere los derechos fundamentales.
