La intensión de este asesinato fue robarle el bebé que estaba en gestación.
Luego de cuatro largos años, los elementos de prueba recabados y aportados por el Agente del Ministerio Público de la Fiscalía General de Justicia Estatal (FGJEM) fueron determinantes para que un juez con sede en Jilotepec iniciara un proceso legal en contra de esta mujer, a quien además le fijó una medida cautelar de prisión preventiva y un plazo de dos meses para el cierre de investigación complementaria.
Los hechos tuvieron lugar en un inmueble de la localidad Xhimojay, en el municipio de Jilotepec, donde la víctima se encontraba con la ahora detenida y otra mujer; ambas la habrían sometido y golpeado para realizarle un corte tipo cesárea y extraer al bebé.
La mujer así como su hijo fallecieron en el lugar; las probables partícipes colocaron los cuerpos en una carretilla y los trasladaron a una zona boscosa cercana al domicilio, donde los abandonaron y luego huyeron.
Con los datos recabados, el Ministerio Público solicitó a un juez librar una orden de aprehensión en contra de este individuo, mandamiento judicial que fue otorgado y cumplimentado. A esta persona se le debe considerar inocente hasta que sea dictada una sentencia condenatoria en su contra.
