Cruz Roja implementa programa “Paramédico Motorizado”
Con la estrategia, la institución pretende brindar atención rápida a los llamados de auxilio
La Cruz Roja Morelos puso en marcha el programa “Paramédico Motorizado”, mediante el cual será factible brindar atención rápida a los llamados de auxilio, pues en el 75 por ciento de los casos no se requiere de trasladar a lesionados en ambulancias hasta algún hospital.
Este miércoles se dio a conocer dicha estrategia, que comienza con la operación de tres unidades, conformadas por una moto y un paramédico capacitado para brindar atención de emergencia.
José Luis Alquicira Solís, representante de la institución en la entidad, explicó que se buscará el apoyo de la sociedad para poder adquirir más motos y ampliar el programa, que ya se ha aplicado con buenos resultados en otras ciudades. Por ahora se contará con dos equipos en Cuernavaca y uno en Jojutla.
Explicó que “un 75 por ciento de pacientes que piden nuestros servicios no requieren traslado a un hospital, son éstos los pacientes que recibirán la atención de manera más rápida por un paramédico motorizado. En caso de requerir traslado hospitalario se estabilizará y pedirá apoyo a la ambulancia para trasladar al paciente a un hospital, ganando tiempo de respuesta para una mejor atención… se espera brindar atención prehospitalaria en menor tiempo de respuesta a personas con factores de mayor riesgo de complicación, por ejemplo, hipertensos, diabéticos descompensados, hipoglucémicos o accidentados en un perímetro específico”.
En el acto oficial en el que se puso en marcha el programa se dio a conocer que, en esta primera etapa, las motocicletas fueron donadas por la Fundación Rawlings, encargada de administrar el Campamento Tierra Alta en Xoxocotla, Morelos.
