Remueven al diputado Marcos Zapotitla de la Comisión de Igualdad de Género

También lo removieron de la Comisión de Seguridad Pública y Protección Civil, debido a la acusación que tiene por el delito de violación de una mujer

Por mayoría de votos, diputadas y diputados del Congreso de Morelos removieron al legislador Marcos Zapotitla Becerro como presidente de las comisiones de Igualdad de Género, Seguridad Pública y Protección Civil, ante las acusaciones que pesan en su contra por haber incurrido en el delito de violación en contra de una mujer.

Esta tarde, en sesión ordinaria, fue presentado ante el Pleno del Congreso un punto de acuerdo firmado por 10 legisladoras para remover al diputado del Partido de Encuentro Social (PES) como de urgente y obvia resolución.

El diputado Javier García Chávez, del partido Movimiento Regeneración Nacional (Morena), se sumó a la exigencia y otras dos diputadas.

La morenista Keila Selene Figueroa Peralta, ex presidenta de la Comisión de Igualdad de Género, expresó la urgencia de tomar medidas debido a que Marcos Zapotitla en distintas ocasiones ha sido señalado por cometer violencia de género contra las mujeres.

“El diputado Marcos “N” en repetidas ocasiones ha cometido violencia contra las mujeres, acoso, hostigamiento sexual y violación, se considera urgente que sea removido el diputado de estas comisiones ya que se compromete de manera directa la debida diligencia de los asuntos considerados de interés público”, dijo.

Además, le sugirieron la necesidad de que sea el propio diputado señalado el que pida licencia y se separe del Congreso para enfrentar de manera adecuada el proceso legal que pesa en su contra.

La diputada exhortó a Uriel Carmona Gándara, titular de la Fiscalía General Estatal (FGE), quien ha sido señalado de proteger al diputado Zapotitla, a que se conduzca con transparencia y conforme a derecho corresponda.

El punto de acuerdo fue aprobado con 12 votos a favor y seis abstenciones. Además, solicitaron que en 30 días hábiles se presente la propuesta de quienes encabezarán las comisiones.
