Firman convenio para reclutamiento de vacantes al Servicio de Protección Federal

Esta mañana se lleva a cabo la firma de un convenio de colaboración para el reclutamiento de vacantes al Servicio de Protección Federal (SPF).

El acto es presidido por el gobernador Cuauhtémoc Blanco Bravo y el comisionado del SPF, Manuel de Jesús Espino Barrientos.

Se pondrán a disposición 800 vacantes, informó en dicho acto la titular de la Secretaría de Desarrollo Económico y del Trabajo (SDEyT), Ana Cecilia Rodríguez González.

Espino Barrientos informó que hasta el año pasado había en este cuerpo de seguridad alrededor de tres mil integrantes, y la meta es que crezca a 45 mil ó 50 mil en todo el país.

Refirió que el proceso intenso de reclutamiento tiene como efectos reforzar el SPF, fortalecer la seguridad, generar empleo y atraer a jóvenes que se incorporen a dicha institución, y no a grupos delictivos; por ello, se decidió iniciar en entidades y ciudades de alto nivel de inseguridad.

Cabe recordar que el servicio funciona dando seguridad en instalaciones oficiales federales, así como sitios estratégicos como puertos y aeropuertos, entre otros.
